Thoughts to Make Weight Loss Effortless

Have you ever noticed that you are what you think about?

Let that really sink in and think about it for a second. What things come easy for you? What things do you struggle with?

The things that come easy to you, you have easy thoughts about. You don't worry about them, they just are. You know you're good at them, and you don't stress about them, so they flow effortlessly in your life.

The things you struggle with seem to compound and get worse and worse the more you worry about them. You can't seem to get out of the spiral.

Do you think this is a coincidence? That you think negative thoughts about the hard things in life because they're hard? Or could it be that they're hard because you think negative thoughts about them?

Weight loss is impossible.

Unpack that and just think about it. If you think losing weight is impossible for you, how can it possibly ever be easy? The thoughts you're thinking will always directly oppose what you're trying to do. It doesn't matter what diet or weight loss strategy you try, it will always be hard. You will be trying to go through all the motions, but your thoughts will continually be bringing down your vibration. You think it's hard, therefor it's hard. You think you'll fail, therefor you will fail.

Weight loss comes easily and effortlessly for me.

On the flip side, if you work on changing your mindset around it, you will start to find that it will become easier and easier for you to become healthy. If you start to think about how much you enjoy your walks/runs, how much better you feel after doing them, how you love to get out and clear your thoughts, these mindset shifts will help you to love doing it.

Or when you choose to eat a healthy meal, instead of thinking about what you're "missing out on", try changing your thoughts to happy grateful thoughts.

  • I am so lucky to be able to get out and move.

  • I love the way the fresh air feels on my face.

  • The sunshine really makes me feel reinvigorated and alive.

  • I love clearing my thoughts.

  • I love spending time in nature.

  • I love the peace and quiet my walks provide me with.

  • The sound of the gentle breeze in the trees is so calming.

  • The laughter of the children playing outside is infectious.

  • I love the feeling I get when I've accomplished something.

  • I am healthy, vibrant, and weight loss comes easy to me.

  • My body is amazing and it always takes care of me.

Some Examples of Positive Thoughts Around Food

  • I am so happy to have access to clean healthy food.

  • I am so thankful for this nourishing food

  • I am so thankful I have electricity to prepare this meal.

  • My body feels so strong and healthy, and I love giving it food to make it even more so.

  • I love to try new and exciting recipes.

  • I love to bring my family together for beautiful healthy meals.

  • I love to know that every bite I take is nourishing my body.

  • Every cell in my body is thankful for this meal.

  • Every cell in my body knows how to take any food I give it and utilize it to make me healthy.

  • Losing weight comes so easily to me.

  • Even when I don't make perfect choices, I am still healthy and happy.

Changing my thoughts has really helped me to change my mindset, and make improving my life more fun. You won't always be perfect, but just be a bit better. Don't fall into a shame spiral when things are less than ideal. Find ways to be thankful and happy, and you will find it will get easier and easier the more you practice it.
